[flyer: michael bray - jemima jemima & double vision @Ausland 01.04.06]
jemima jemima were unique: unusual time-signatures and unrepetetive song-structures, an insistence that every song relate an obscure tale of australia's history, yoko-esque vocals and a singular drumming style, and non-traditional tuning on the guitar
the group played around melbourne for a year or two, released an album - "red coats" on unstable ape and relocated to Berlin at the end of 2005

sound and vision are both a bit distorted in these videos (embedded below), but they capture something from the last jemima jemima gig - at whitetrash fastfood in Berlin, with Ian Wadley on bass. They then resumed, as a 3-piece, under the name goon woman's silver pillow for a handful of gigs in Berlin.
