dog forbid - this group had Ian singing (!) and playing guitar, on drums Maureen Murphy (at first) then Leo Power (from wondrous fair) and on bass (and vocals) Deborah Cavallaro, then also in wondrous fair (and formerly tangled shoelaces) and now heading the golden circles

from this group grew both the holy ghosts (with Eugene and Ian) and also the deep end - a recording project of Ian and Stephen Grainger - an example otherwise unreleased LP can be heard here

hugo race + true spirit - Ian played bass for a few gigs in 2005, in Berlin and Dresden

jasmine maschine is the group of Jasmine from Minit, also Berlin-based. Ian recorded with Jasmine, and also played drums (the band also included Torben from Minit and full fucking moon and James (Jimmy Trash) at a gig in London, at Catch 22 in Hoxton, just before ATP April 25 2006
